Hello everyone, and a massive welcome to Grit & Growth. I'm incredibly excited to have you here and look forward to working with you to build a stronger, more resilient you.

I’ve spent over 21 years in the British Army, rising to the highest rank for a non-commissioned officer, Warrant Officer Class One Regimental Sergeant Major. My whole career was dedicated to one thing: leading, mentoring, and coaching people to achieve their absolute best, not just in their duties, but as
individuals. That experience has given me a deep, practical understanding of how to motivate, guide, and inspire young people like you to reach your full potential, both physically and mentally.

My Commitment to Your Success

As a qualified British Army Physical Training Instructor, I've designed and delivered physical and well-being programs across the Army, Navy, and RAF. This taught me how to tailor training to a wide range of abilities, ensuring that everyone remained injury-resilient, physically capable, and mentally strong.
To support this practical experience, I’ve studied Sports Science and Biomechanics at Manchester Metropolitan University, which has provided a solid academic foundation in human movement and injury prevention.
My expertise isn't just theory. As a Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Coach specialising in youth athletic development, my focus is entirely on building strong, safe foundations that will support your long-term progress, confidence, and success, not just in sport, but in life.

What We Will Achieve Together

I’ve had the privilege of working with a youth American flag football team, successfully developing them all the way to the National Finals, with five athletes going on to represent Great Britain and ten for Scotland. Their work ethic was phenomenal, and by sharing a goal and working together, we achieved amazing things. I aim to instil that same phenomenal work ethic in you.
